Houston Serenity Place, founded in 2005 in Houston Texas, is a nonprofit agency, providing care and treatment to youth with mental and emotional health issues. The agency serves age 7-18, male and females with most referrals coming from Child Protective Services (CPS). Houston Serenity Place is committed to meeting the needs of children and families through a caring and nurturing staff of Mental Health Professionals, Clinical Professionals and Direct Care Providers.
Services include counseling, residential treatment, at-risk programs, foster care and adoption. Welfare services, interventions for youth as well as preventions are a vital part of the total programs’ success. Clients have an opportunity to grow and change as they participate in Quest Adventures and a Program Model “Sanctuary”.
Houston Serenity Place has served many youth and families all over the states.
Chris and Wanda Brown are the founders of Houston Serenity Place and have expanded their vision to include 3 Residential Treatment Centers and over the past 10 years, A CPA and An Emergency Shelter was added in efforts to continue to serve youth and families.
Houston Serenity Place receives funding from The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). Private Donations and Contributions are welcomed.
